This home is large and expansive with lots of room that can be used for social occasions or partitioned off with permanent walls to increase the bedroom count if that is your preference or need. Porches are typically built on-site, as was the case here because of the lengths of the modules. If the modules were shorter and the porches were on the ends of the modules, as they are in this home, they could have been built in the factory.

This project was by a very nice man who was teaching his daughter investing and development as this project was built as a “Spec Home” project. It was built on a mildly sloped corner lot with a great view of the San Francisco Bay. The garage was built on-site after the Factory Built Home was delivered and set on the permanent concrete stem wall foundation.

This Accessory Dwelling Unit is a special case as few jurisdictions allow for two story ADU’s. This is one of our smallest two story homes, the footprint is minimal and will fit on a lot of properties. It is uncommon to have a home that is 2 stories, under 1,000 SF, and still have 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. This can be built as a Single Family Residence or as a second residence (if the local jurisdiction allows for an ADU of this height and size).
